Trone, Inc. has recently (November 2008) conducted a nationwide study of over 3,300 consumers about their attitudes and behaviors in light of the current economy.  Among other things, the study examined consumers’ anticipated  2009 expenditures and interactions with brands across a number of key product categories including groceries, children’s, personal expenses and pets.
